Purpose & Mission
The Career Guidance Cell is established to guide and support students of the college in planning their careers, choosing the right path after graduation, and enhancing their employability.
It aims to:
-
- Provide information on various career options, including industry roles, higher education, research, entrepreneurship, and public-service.
-
- Help students develop the required skills — communication, soft skills, domain knowledge, professional readiness — to succeed in the job market or postgraduate tracks.
-
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industry visits, and mentoring sessions to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional demands.
-
- Offer individual guidance and counselling for students to explore their interests, aptitudes and plan their career path accordingly.
-
- Maintain a resource-centre (books, periodicals, e-resources) and database of alumni, recruiters and industry contacts to support student development.
